In April of 2017, Theron appeared on big screens in the 8th part of the action movie "the-fast-and-the-furious". Charlize hadn’t taken part in "The Fast and the Furious" before, in the new part actress played the part of the villain Cipher.

At present time the actress works on the spy thriller "Atomic Blonde" where Charlize has got a leading role. The premiere of the movie about intelligence agents of the times of Cold War is set for the second half of 2017.
